“Nature in all its beauty is my inspiration for painting and my focus is mainly on landscapes in various forms which is achieved through the fluidity of the paint.”

I was born in Sydney NSW where I have spent most of my life but now reside on the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland. I come from a long line of painters in my family so it's in my DNA to be creative.

Whilst I have had no formal training, my passion for the arts has evolved over many years. I have dabbled in many different art forms in this time and I am currently exploring the different facets and techniques of fluid art which is mostly of an abstract nature. I really enjoy this form of art as it lets me really pour/throw the paint around the canvas and allows me to express different moods and emotions which I may be experiencing at that moment. Painting is my happy place.

The medium I use for this art form is mostly acrylic paints, although at times I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.

Nature in all its beauty is my inspiration for painting and my focus is mainly on landscapes in various forms which is achieved through the fluidity of the paint. Its many different colour combinations and layering techniques are used to capture movement, depth and texture of the ever-changing landscape. This in turn evokes emotion in the viewer and generates a sense of drama, excitement and intrigue to the art work.

This art form is unique as the painting can never be replicated which makes it a one of a kind piece.

I have entered and been successful in exhibiting in the Hornsby Art prize in 2011 and 2012 and have received an award in the 2011 Art on Lofts Art exhibition in Sydney. I was recently a finalist and successful seller of the work that I entered into the Doyle Art Prize (2022). I have also sold many of my artworks through the Mistletoe Winery art gallery in the Hunter Valley NSW.
